Yasin Block
The Yasin Block is located in the Sindh province close to the border of Balochistan. The block is in the vicinity of existing gas fields such as Koonj in Sukkur Block (MCPL) and Hamza in Block-22 (PEL). An exploratory well, Haseeb-1, discovered commercial gas in the Sui Main Limestone (SML) formation, in April 2005.
